Hamad Mohamed thani Al Rumaithi (Street 179)

Lieutenant General Hamad bin Mohammed bin Thani Al Rumaithi, born in 1954 AD, currently serves as the Advisor for Military Affairs to His Highness the President of the State, holding the esteemed rank of minister. As one of Zayed’s dedicated confidants and a symbol of national stature, he is an Emirati military commander who previously occupied the pivotal role of Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces. In recognition of his outstanding services, he was honored with the Commander of the British Empire Medal. His distinguished achievements extend to receiving prestigious accolades such as the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Military Medal, the Armed Forces Unification Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, the Abu Dhabi Defense Force Service Medal, the Al-Fatih Medal, the Two-Niles Medal, the National Security Medal of Merit, the Order of Excellence, the Medal of Courage, the Federation Establishment Medal, the Armed Forces Integration Medal, the Lebanon Peacekeeping Medal, and the badge of gallantry, Peninsula Shield Force Medal and the Medal of Honor with the rank of Commander. His unwavering commitment is evident in his remarkable 50 years of dedicated service.
