Lieutenant General Hamad bin Mohammed bin Thani Al Rumaithi, born in 1954 AD, currently serves as the Advisor for Military Affairs to His Highness the President of the State, holding the esteemed rank of minister. As one of Zayed’s dedicated confidants and a symbol of national stature, he is an Emirati military commander who previously occupied the pivotal role of Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces. In recognition of his outstanding services, he was honored with the Commander of the British Empire Medal.
